How do patients experience pain of PRP treatment using conventional multispot laser and navigated laser, and how does this affect the duration, and patient comfort of a PRP session? The interview covers results of a recent study, experiences, and the learning curve with Navilas in clinical practice.
Lars Freisberg, MD, says that because treatment with Navilas® is more comfortable for patients, they more often return for their therapy which has significantly increased the number of PRP treatments he performs. He states that Navilas® 577s was a worthwhile investment also from the financial point of view as the system basically paid itself within the first year.
